The Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) is back with its third season. After the inaugural season in 2019, the SPL returned to action in 2022. There was no SPL Action in 2019 and 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The franchises are based out of different regions of Saurashtra - Kutch, Gohilwad, Halar, Sorath, and Zalawad. Cricketers from the Saurashtra region will lead their sides on the battlefield in search of victory. The first season was won by the Sorath Lions, whereas Halar Heroes tasted glory in 2022.
For the first time, SPL is set to be staged in two consecutive years. The fans in Saurashtra are excited to witness their favorite teams go toe-to-toe. Only time will tell if we will see a new champion or a there will be a second-time winner.

When does the Saurashtra Premier League 2023 start?
The 2023 SPL will commence on 23 August 2023 and will run till 31 August 2023.
Saurashtra Premier League 2023 fixtures
The opening game of the tournament sees defending champions Halar Heroes face Gohilwad Gladiators. Five teams will fight for the silverware in an 11-game tournament.
The final will take place on 31 August 2023. All the games will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Kandheri, Rajkot.
