India has been facing a lot of criticism in recent weeks for their base for the Champions Trophy not shifting throughout the tournament.

After refusing to travel to Pakistan, all of India's matches were shifted to Dubai where they played the group stage.

The criticism began from Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton who said it was an advantage for India to play in Dubai and it was seconded by South Africa's number 3, Rassie van der Dussen.

Sourav Ganguly reacts to Nasser Hussain's comments on India playing in Dubai:

During a CAB event in Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly responded to the aforementioned criticism and thought India would score a lot more in Pakistan given the better pitches to bat on.

"The pitches in Pakistan are much better. India would've scored more runs there," replied Ganguly on a CAB event

Up next, India will face Australia in the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy on March 4 and South Africa or England in a potential final on March 9 should they win against Australia in Dubai.
