A Somalian Pirate was wearing the jersey of a renowned IPL franchise. A bunch of Somalian pirates were caught by an Indian Naval ship off the East of Somalia. The Indian naval ship INS Sumitra rescued Pakistani nationals from a vessel around 800 nautical miles away from the coast of Kochi.
The fishing vessel Al Naemi was the second successful Anti-Piracy operation to be carried out by INS Sumitra in the span of 24 hours. The Indian naval ship has rescued vessel and captured 11 Somali Pirates. Al Naeemi vessel and her crew of 19 Pakistani nationals was saved from the Somali Pirates.

When does IPL 2024 begin?
