The ninth edition of the T20 World Cup is set to return this summer, as 20 teams fight it out for the trophy in the West Indies and USA. With just a month to go, the final preparations are taking place for various national teams.

In their final assignment before departing for the USA, Bangladesh faced off against Zimbabwe in the first of five T20I matches on Friday in Chattogram. The hosts bundled Zimbabwe out for just 124, with keeper Clive Madande (43) and Wellington Masakadza (34) putting up good fights.

Bangladesh were 10/1 in 3 overs when rain set in, interrupting the match.

On the field, Zimbabwe's star all-rounder and captain Sikander Raza did not make much of a mark, as he was dismissed for a golden duck, caught at slip off the bowling of Mahedi Hassan. However, he did catch the eye during the pre-match press conference.

As he took his seat in the press room, Raza moved a couple of bottles of Coca-Cola placed on the table in front of him and replaced them with water bottles.

The gesture was reminiscent of something football star Cristiano Ronaldo did at the European Championships in 2021. Ahead of Portugal's match against Hungary, he moved the Coca-Cola bottles aside, exclaiming "Agua!" (Water!). The gesture coincided with a massive fall in the soft drink company's stock price, but was not directly responsible.
