IPL sensation and star Indian opener Shubman Gill recently visited the Parc Des Princes - the home of the Ligue 1 Giants, Paris Saint Germain.
The football club, where Lionel Messi played last season, also gifted the cricketer an iconic “number 7” jersey of his name as a token of love. The Indian cricketers are on vacation after their disappointing loss at the hands of Australia in the World Test Championship Final 2023.
The next task for the Indian Cricket Team is a month away in July- when they tour the Caribbean Islands to face West Indies.

In the T20I series against the Kiwis, Gill smashed a match-winning century in the third and final T20I. He remained unbeaten on 126.

Gill then had a disappointing ODI series against the Aussies, as he could not find any rhythm. He scored 57 runs in 3 matches.
Shubman Gill then had a stellar IPL season with the bat. He won the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs. The opener scored 870 runs in 17 innings.
However, the youngster failed to translate his IPL momentum into red-ball cricket. Shubman only scored 31 runs across two innings at the World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia. India faced defeat at the Oval Stadium by a margin of 209 runs, as they failed to get their hands on the Test Mace for the second time.
