Pakistan finally broke the shackles of defeat after recording a resounding victory against Bangladesh in the ongoing 2023 ODI World Cup.
The Men in Green ended their four-match losing streak in Kolkata to get their first points in over two weeks.

Batting first, Bangladesh were bundled up for 204 in under 46 overs. The Bangla Tigers are officially eliminated from the tournament, as Pakistan live to fight another day at the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.
Mahmudullah (56), Litton Das (45), and Shakib Al Hasan (43) played valuable knocks, but their effort went in vain. Pakistani pacers did their homework ahead of the game, with Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Wasim picking three wickets each. Haris Rauf bagged two for himself.
In response, Pakistan batsmen were up to the task and chased the total with ease. Abdullah Shafique (68) and Fakhar Zaman (81) put up a 128-run opening stand as Pakistan scored 205 in under 33 overs.

Former Pakistan Skipper Shahid Afridi heaped praises on the Men in Green as they saw a turbulent time come to an end. After their four-match losing streak, Pakistan won their first game in over two weeks against Bangladesh.
