After the match, Shah Rukh met the players and congratulated them personally. In a video, Harshit Rana was seen hugging Shah Rukh and lifting him up in excitement. Photos shared by the IPL showed Shah Rukh kissing Gautam Gambhir on the forehead in a touching moment.
KKR's all-round performance in the final led them to their third IPL title. Their first win was on the same ground in 2012, and they recreated that success on May 26, 2024.
