Saud Shakeel: Fastest to reach 1,000 Test runs

In the first Test match against Bangladesh, Shakeel reached the milestone of 1,000 Test runs in just 20 innings. This achievement tied him with Saeed Ahmed, who set the record back in 1959.

Shakeel needed just 33 runs to reach the milestone before the match and surpassed it with an impressive century. He scored 141 runs, putting Pakistan in a strong position amid the ongoing match. He performed under pressure as he walked in when Pakistan was struggling at 16/3.
