Why did RCB change their name - Heeding the voice of the fans

The franchise's decision to incorporate 'Bengaluru' into its name is not merely a superficial change but a testament to the unwavering support and passion of its local fan base.

Over the years, fans have fervently advocated for this alteration, urging the franchise to embrace the cultural heritage and linguistic diversity of the city. With the official adoption of the name 'Bengaluru,' RCB has heeded the voice of its ardent supporters, reaffirming its commitment to the community it represents.
