India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) former captain, Virat Kohli completed 16 years in international cricket on Sunday. The now 35-year-old made his international debut against the Sri Lankan cricket team back on August 18, 2008.

Since then, Kohli has gone on to become one of the greatest players ever in all three formats of the game, amassing unbelievable numbers across his legendary career. Nicknamed ‘King Kohli’ recently won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 with the Indian team in Barbados.
Congratulating him on such a momentous achievement, skipper Rohit Sharma praised the batter for his dedication to the game and the hard work he has put in across the years to reach where he is at the moment.

He further stated that his contributions to the Indian team are immense, even praising the struggles he had to go through.

Kohli recently played against Sri Lanka in the 2-0 ODI series defeat wherein a mind-blowing stat revealed that the Indian talisman had scored more ODI runs than the 16 players from the Sri Lankan combined.
