Rohit Sharma has been a selfless servant of the Indian Cricket team for more than a decade. The Indian skipper has had a trophy-laden career, spanning over sixteen years but has been on the top of his game. However, with age catching up to Sharma, he was recently asked about his retirement plans.

At 36, not many players think of playing international cricket for longer. However, the Indian captain has a different thought process, related to his retirement. The former Mumbai Indians skipper spoke at length to the media after India's series win against England.

Rohit Sharma and his men emerged victorious by 4-1, in the five-match Test series against England. After facing an early setback, the hosts won four games on the trot, to clinch the bilateral series in Dharamshala.

After the series triumph, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was interrogated over his retirement plans.

Is Rohit Sharma retiring?

Rohit Sharma revealed he had no plans of hanging up his boots. Speaking on JioCinema after the match in Dharamsala, Sharma said,

I think if one day if I wake up and feel I'm not good enough, I'm not feeling good enough to play the sport. I'll just talk it out and let them know about it. But honestly, I feel in the last two or three years my cricket has actually gone up and I'm playing the best cricket.
