Things are looking good with all three compartments showing their quality and consistency, contributing to the team's success.

Starting from Rohit Sharma, who has been instrumental in both the Super 8 and semi-final matches against Australia and England, respectively, against whom he scored half centuries.

Let us discuss how the 37-year-old has performed in the ICC knockouts so far.

Rohit Sharma's record in ICC knockout matches

Rohit has featured in 18 ICC knockout matches with 16 of those being in white-ball cricket. He played his first knockout game in the T20 World Cup 2007 against Australia.

Talking specifically in the ODIs, he has played 8 knockout fixtures, starting from the 2013 Champions Trophy. In the ODI World Cup, his first knockout match came against Bangladesh in 2015 where he scored a match-winning hundred.

In the Champions Trophy 2017 semi-final against Bangladesh, he smashed a century to help India book a date with Pakistan in the summit clash of the competition.

While he has a relatively average record in the 7 knockout matches of the T20 World Cup, he will hope to correct that in the 2024 Final against South Africa. He scored a crucial 57 runs against England during the 2024 semi-finals, which was his first half-century since 2007 in the knockouts of this competition.

However, his worst record in the knockouts among the four competitions has been at the World Test Championship Finals against New Zealand and Australia, where he failed to score a single half-century, as Team India went on to lose both the matches.
