Indian skipper Rohit Sharma recently shared which bowler he had trouble facing during his long and storied career.

Rohit has had an illustrious career having made his debut for India in 2007. He was part of the Indian teams that lifted the 2007 World Twenty20 as well as the 2008 Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia.

Bet here on IPL 2024 and other cricket matches!

With over 10000 runs in ODIs, close to 4000 T20I runs, and over 4000 Test runs, as well as a flurry of records, Rohit will certainly go down as one of the greatest batsmen of his generation.

But it's not the runs that set the 37-year-old apart and put him in a class of his own. It's his no-holds-barred approach – providing nightmares to the bowlers and plenty of entertainment to the fans – that puts the opposition team to the sword and helps the team more often than not.

Who is the toughest bowler Rohit Sharma ever faced?

Speaking in an interaction with Dubai Eye 103.8, a Dubai-based radio station, Rohit revealed that former South African pace spearhead Dale Steyn was the toughest bowler he ever faced.

I have gone and watched his videos like 100 times before I went in to bat. That was Dale Steyn. He is an absolute legend of the game. And what he has achieved in his career is just superb to watch. And I have faced him many times. He is quick. He used to swing the ball at that pace, which is not easy. It is quite tough. And he was a fierce competitor. He just went out there wanting to do everything, to win every game and every session, so it was nice to come up against him.
