Earlier this summer, Pant made a remarkable comeback to international cricket. The Delhi-born cricketer won the T20 World Cup 2024 with the Men in Blue, playing every match in the tournament.

Coincidently, Rishabh Pant's last Test match was against Bangladesh in December 2022. KL Rahul led the Indian team against the Bangla Tigers in Mirpur, as India won the game by three wickets.
Pant starred in the match as he played a brilliant knock of 93 runs off 104 balls in the first innings. He hit seven boundaries and five sixes, striking at 90.
