It's hard to believe that Rishabh Pant is still only 25 such has been his impact on world cricket, both in an India shirt and amid the glitz and glamour of the Indian Premier League.
He's been an incredible IPL player since making his debut in 2016 but he'll play no part in the 2023 tournament as he continues to recover from a car crash.

But what about Pant's IPL career to date and his history in the competition? We detail it all here.

Rishabh Pant IPL team
Pant has only ever played for one franchise in the IPL: the Delhi Capitals.
He was bought by the team (then named Delhi Daredevils) in 2016 and has been retained every year since. He was made captain in 2021 due to Shreyas Iyer's injury, a role he kept for the 2022 season.
The Capitals announced that David Warner will take over the captaincy for 2023 in Pant's absence.
"Rishabh has been a terrific leader for Delhi Capitals, and we're all going to miss having him around," said Australian star Warner.
"I would like to thank the management for the faith and trust they've always shown in me."

Has Rishabh Pant ever won the IPL?
No, Pant is yet to win an IPL with Delhi Capitals. The closest he came was in the 2020 season when, after finishing second in the group standings, Delhi reached the final but were well beaten by the Mumbai Indians.
Pant scored an excellent 56 off 38 balls in a partnership of 96 with Iyer to lead the Capitals to 156/7 in their 20 overs, but they found Rohit Sharma in elegant form for Mumbai as he struck 68 at the top of the order to lead his team home by five wickets and with eight balls to spare.
