Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.
After going down to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens by 81 runs, RCB will look to bounce back to winning ways in this match. They got off to a good start but the middle order capitulated as KKR's spinners ripped through them.
Chasing 205, from Glenn Maxwell, at no.4, to Anuj Rawat, at no.8, all the batsmen got out on a single-digit score. Their middle order needs to fire quickly as openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis are in good nick and are providing them with a platform to build on.
Death bowling is another concern as they conceded 83 in the last five overs. David Willey did a brilliant job with the ball but Du Plessis just kept one over for him at the end which also did not help their cause.
Meanwhile, LSG head into this fixture after a comfortable five-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their previous match.
Their spin trio of Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra picked up 6 for 57 to restrict SRH to just 121 for 8 in the first innings.

Pandya was their pick bowler as he saw the back of Mayank Agarwal, Anmolpreet Singh and Aiden Markram.
KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers got off to a solid start posting 35 in 4.3 overs before Pandya starred with the bat playing a match-winning innings of 23-ball 34.
The two teams have faced each other twice and on both occasions, RCB have emerged triumphant. Rahul and co. are flying high after their victory over SRH and would look to amend the record.
