RCB vs GT: IPL head-to-head record, most runs, most wickets, and more image

The last match of the group stages of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is also the most decisive one. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) play host to the table-toppers of IPL 2023, the Gujarat Titans (GT).

It is a must-win game for the home side. As things stand, a win would see RCB qualify for the playoff rounds ahead of their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI). It is the first meeting between the teams in the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

A win for the Titans would spoil their opponents’ party, having already sealed the group stage in the first place. The visitors would want to find the last bit of momentum before playing Qualifier 1. It is the first time the two sides play each other at the Chinnaswamy.

RCB is placed fourth on the table with seven wins in 13 matches. Their opponent GT is at the top of the table, with 18 points. RCB and GT have faced each other only twice in the IPL.

GT won the title in their first-ever IPL season in 2022, while RCB has been battling since 2008 to win silverware but has got none.
