Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced via Instagram on February 20, about the birth of their second child. Due to personal reasons, Virat Kohli had taken a sabbatical from representing India at the Test series against England. 

The couple revealed that their second child and son was born on February 15 and he has been named Akaay.

During a WPL game between RCB and UP Warriorz, a fan was spotted holding a banner showing his support towards junior Kohli.

How did fans celebrate the birth of Virat Kohli's son, Akaay Kohli?

The celebrity couple of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced on February 20, the birth of their second child. The birth took place on February 15, 2024, the couple revealed on the post. 

Ever since, many fans have already showered their love and compassion for the new-born. The fans have flooded Virat Kohli's comments section on various social media platforms. 

Some of them have called Akaay, as the "certified prince" to the "King" that Kohli is. This one fan made a poster regarding Akaay Kohli's involvement with the RCB franchise. 

Akaay RCB, the fan wrote on the chart paper, with the picture of a cub, right besides.

It is only poetic that the fans have been calling Akaay as a cub, with Kohli having the mentality, as majestic as that of a lion.

What next for Virat Kohli?

Virat Kohli has taken time off from cricket, to spend hours besides his family, and close ones. The cricketer would be back in action ahead of the upcoming IPL 2024. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore are scheduled to visit Chennai to play against the reigning champions, Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024 tournament opener. The match will be played on March 22.
