Ravindra Jadeja joined in as India's latest entry in the list of elite Test all-rounders. The southpaw picked the final wicket of Bangladesh's first innings in the second Test match in Kanpur.
Despite being affected by rain, India are currently in the driver's seat and are closing in on clinching a win over the Bangla Tigers. With the wicket of Hasan Mahmud on Day 4, Jadeja etched his name in history books.
The all-rounder became the quickest Indian player to pick 300 wickets and score 3000 runs in red-ball cricket as he went past the record of legendary Kapil Dev.
The Jamnagar-born cricketer is also the second-fastest (74 innings) player ever to reach the milestone, only behind England's Ian Botham (72 innings).
