India will tour Ireland for a three-match T20I series starting August 18. The series starts just after India's all-format tour to the West Indies ends on August 13.

However, India head coach Rahul Dravid will not travel with the team. National Cricket Academy chief VVS Laxman was set to accompany Jasprit Bumrah and Co. but he will be busy heading a high-performance camp in Bengaluru for three weeks, which will see him miss the Ireland T20Is.

Who is Sitanshu Kotak?

Kotak has been the coach of the India A team for the past two years and this opportunity will allow him to work with senior players like Bumrah.

The Ireland tour holds significance, as it marks the return of Jasprit Bumrah after a nearly year-long absence. Young talents like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Jitesh Sharma will also showcase their skills.
