As India took the field on a rain-affected Day 1 of the second Test against Bangladesh after winning the first in Chennai, R Ashwin trapped the Bangladesh captain, Najmul Shanto in front of the wickets as he was starting to build a partnership with Mominul Haque.
Ashwin picked up the wicket post Lunch continuing his great form from the first Test, where he took a five-wicket haul in Chennai. Shanto became his 420th scalp for the Indian spinner in Asia as made it to the top of the list.
