As the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 nears its climax, fans brace themselves for the excitement and drama of the playoffs. After weeks of intense competition, only four teams have earned the right to vie for the coveted title.

The league phase of PSL 2024 has witnessed nail-biting encounters, showcasing the talent and resilience of the participating franchises. With just two group-stage matches remaining, the playoff picture has crystallized, setting the stage for thrilling knockout clashes.

Confirmed Playoff Contenders

Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators have emerged as the top four teams, securing their berths in the playoffs. Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, despite their efforts, have been eliminated from contention, unable to secure enough points to advance.

Battle for Top Spots

Multan Sultans emerged as the leader of the pack after finishing with 14 points from 10 matches.

The teams finishing first and second will clash in a qualifier on March 14, with the winner earning a direct ticket to the final. Meanwhile, the third and fourth-placed teams will face off in an eliminator, vying for a chance to challenge the loser of the qualifier for the second spot in the final.

The schedule for the remaining fixtures of the league phase and playoffs is as follows:

  • Thursday, March 14: Qualifier (1st place vs. 2nd place)
  • Friday, March 15: Eliminator 1 (3rd place vs. 4th place)
  • Saturday, March 16: Eliminator 2 (Winner of eliminator vs. Loser of qualifier)
  • Monday, March 18: Final
