How has Prithvi Shaw performed in his England county stint?
Shaw did not have an eventful start to his life in England County. He scored 34 and 26 in the first two matches and was dismissed for a hit wicket in his debut.
In the third match, he broke his shackles and scored the double ton to help his team post a massive total of 415.
He previously notched a double century in List-A cricket during the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Notably, he stands second only to Indian captain Rohit Sharma in terms of Indian batters with the most double centuries in List A cricket.
However, Shaw's stint in the Indian Premier League 2023 with the Delhi Capitals was disappointing as he scored just 106 runs in eight innings.

Will Prithvi Shaw play in Asia Cup & ICC Cricket World Cup?
It remains a tall order for the Thane-born batter to force his way into the Indian team. Shaw has slipped down the pecking order and the emergence of several potential youngsters in Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma has further intensified the competition.
