TIME Magazine recently put out their annual list of the emerging leaders from across the globe. "TIME100 NEXT 2023" is a list of 100 personalities from various walks of life. The list is divided into five categories: Artists, Phenoms, Innovators, Leaders, Advocates.
There are three Indians on the 2023 list, and only one of them is a cricketer. In 2022, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Telugu director SS Rajamouli received the mention in the reverend list.

Who is the only Indian cricketer on TIME100 list of emerging leaders?
India women's team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is the only Indian cricketer on TIME100 list of emerging leaders. She has outshone the likes of Indian Men's superstars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
The Indian Women's Team captain has been elected under the "Innovators" Category, alongside the likes of Isabella Weber, Kristina Dahl, and Mira Murati.
Kaur's inclusion signifies her off the field stature for the Indian Cricket Team. As a captain, she has led the team by example. Kaur has been rewarded for her leadership by the TIME Magazine, and there should only be one way from here for Harmanpreet Kaur.

Who are the other Indians to have featured on the TIME100 List?
Nandita Venkatesan and Vinu Daniel are the other two Indian leaders to feature alongside Harmanpreet Kaur on the TIME100 NEXT 2023. The list also includes Indian-origin Nabarun Dasgupta.
Nandita Venkatesan is a 33-year-old woman based in Mumbai. Venkatesan is a Tuberculosis survivor, and has lost her ability to hear, as an after-effect of the disease. She was rewarded for the exemplary life she has led after being diagnosed with TB, back in 2007.
Vinu Daniel is a Pondicherry-based Architect, who was awarded the mention for his respect towards local wisdom and responsible attitude towards environment.
"Vinu teaches us respect for local wisdom and material culture are key for a truly responsible attitude toward the environment", the site mentioned.
