Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has revealed how he is not satisfied with his poor run of form. Azam is currently plying his trade in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), representing the Rangpur Riders.

The right-hand batter was recently asked about his views on his form, in an interview. He has underperformed for Pakistan, even at the recent ICC ODI World Cup 2023. His performance as a player affected his captaincy, or vice-versa, as some would think.

Azam was sacked as the captain of the Pakistan Cricket team, following a fiasco at the ODI World Cup in India. He has been playing better since but has nowhere been near his supreme best.

What did Babar Azam say about his own batting form?

Speaking to reporters, Azam said,

I am not satisfied with where I am right now, and there are still more milestones to achieve. When I fail, I talk to many people and learn from my mistakes.

Babar further talked about how spinners posed him a threat in the Bangladesh Premier League as he added,

In the BPL, quality spinners pose a challenge, and I try to adapt my game according to the conditions everywhere. I make an effort to play by staying on the wicket for partnership-building. Youngblood is a good thing in T20 cricket, but it needs to be accompanied by experience, the 29-year-old explained.
