Pakistan were eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2024, despite their win against Ireland on Sunday. The Babar-Azam led side won two games, and lost as many to finish third-best in Group A, behind India and USA.
There was no shortage of criticism thrown at the Pakistan team for failing to make through to the knockouts, for the second ICC-event running. The worst moment of their tournament was the shocking defeat against debutants USA.

One of the major reasons of Pakistan's downfall at the T20 World Cup 2024 has been the lack of aggression from the batters. They failed to chase a run-a-ball 120 against India, which in hindsight, could have given them the ticket to the Super 8s.
Skipper Babar Azam, the poster-boy of the Pakistan batting order, was criticised over his own intent as well. An interesting stat has come up as his side exit the ICC event after a forgetful outing in the States.

Babar Azam's six-hitting ability in T20 World Cups questioned after 2024 exit
Babar Azam has played three T20 World Cups in his Pakistan career. Since making his T20 World Cup debut in 2021, Azam led the team to a runners-up finish in 2022. He also finished as the highest run-scorer in his first year (303 runs).
That being said, Babar Azam's ability to tonk the ball is heavily criticised. The Pakistan skipper has failed to score a single six in the batting powerplay across all T20 World Cups so far. That too in a format which calls for maximising the powerplay overs.
Remarkable that Babar Azam has played 3 T20 World Cups without hitting a six in the Powerplay (off 207 balls). Last year, Pakistan took more than 1000 balls to hit a six in the Powerplay in ODIs. Wonder if Pakistan can compete in the modern day cricket with this intent.
