Nicholas Pooran was one of the many overseas cricketers present at Anant Ambani's pre-wedding event in Jamnagar. The Windies skipper attended the three-day gala event in Jamnagar, alongside his countrymen, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo.
Pooran recently led the Mumbai Indians-owned franchise in the ILT20, MI Emirates to victory. He also plays for the MI New York, Mumbai Indians' sister franchise in the Major League Cricket in USA. Moreover, the 28-year-old has also represented Mumbai Indians in the past.
The West Indies international has been posting about the event with enthusiasm, over his social media handles. The Carribean cricketer was seen alongside Bollywood icon Ranveer Singh and took to Instagram to celebrate his excitement.
However, Pooran made a blunder in his most recent Instagram post.
What did Nicholas Pooran post on Instagram?
Nicolas Pooran made a glaring typing error on Instagram while writing a caption for his most recent post on the platform. In good spirits to celebrate Indian culture, he intended to compliment the country and the time he spent at the Ambani event.
However, he made a terrible mistake as he accidentally wrote in the caption, 'Embarrassing the Indian culture', although he wanted to write, 'Embracing the Indian culture'.
Embarrassing the Indian culture, Pooran originally captioned his Instagram post on Sunday.
Typos that change the whole meaning of what you want to say... 🙈 pic.twitter.com/8tbIjjC38K

Later, upon realisation, he changed the caption to what he intended to say through his social media post.
What else did Nicolas Pooran post?
Earlier, he also posed a photograph with Ranveer Singh. Even in that post, he made a typo in his Instagram post. He spelled the name of the Bollywood celebrity incorrectly, as he wrote, 'Raveer' instead of Ranveer.
Which IPL Team does Nicholas Pooran play for?
Nicholas Pooran made a switch from Sunrisers Hyderabad to Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2023. He was retained by the LSG franchise going into IPL 2024.
