With the ball, leg spinner Usama Mir has been a revelation. His 23 wickets at an average of 15 and economy of under 8 have been invaluable. He has been ably supported by pacer Mohammad Ali, who has taken 18 wickets. David Willey and Abbas Afridi round off a formidable attack.

IU took the long route to the final, after finishing third in the league stage. They beat Quetta Gladiators by 39 runs in Eliminator 1 before defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 5 wickets in Eliminator 2. They have been boosted by the return of fast bowler Naseem Shah from injury, and captain Shadab Khan's all-round performance (11 wickets and 301 runs).
They have been slightly up-and-down in terms of performances, but the talent that IU possesses is unquestionable. Any one of Naseem, Shadab, Hunain Shah, Azam Khan, Alex Hales or Imad Wasim is capable of winning a match single-handedly. They may not be favourites, but will fancy their chances of pulling off a victory.
