Australia too are in red-hot form. They began their campaign with two losses. However, a complete team effort led a brilliant turnaround. They have won all of their last eight games and beat South Africa in a cliffhanger by three wickets to confirm their place in the final.

Ahead of the game, The Sporting News brings you the important points to keep in mind if you are attending the match in the stadium on Sunday.

Dos and Don'ts for match-going fans in Ahmedabad

Dos:

  • Do remember to carry a copy of your physical ticket. While the booking process is done online, a physical ticket also needs to be presented when entering the stadium.

  • If you did not opt for home delivery, the ticket needs to be collected from the following address before you enter the Narendra Modi Stadium: TWeb-Exchange Counter at CBCA Office, Sardar Patel Stadium, Navragpura, Ahmedabad or Jalsa Banquet, Tune Hotel, 4D Square Mall, Visat Highway, opposite IIT Motera, Ahmedabad.

  • Do arrive for the match early. It is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm, but plan to be at the ground at least two hours in advance. Moreover, Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force will perform in a special air show before the commencement of the match.
  • Fans are encouraged to arrive as early as 11:30 am at the venue as extra security checks have been planned.

Don'ts:

  • As far as it is possible, do not use your own vehicle to arrive at the ground. Overcrowding is a common issue at the venue, so try to use public transport instead. In addition, there have been parking restrictions imposed by the police, meaning it could be inconvenient to use one's own vehicle.

  • Do not bring any prohibited items to the stadium, as there will be nowhere to store them even if you carry them unintentionally. These include bags, tobacco products, coins, paper pencils, power banks and objectionable banners. For a comprehensive list, refer to the venue regulations as laid out by the ICC before leaving home.

  • Do not leave the stadium midway through the match, unless you are sure you want to depart. This is a guideline that is not always followed, so you may be able to get back in on certain occasions, but it is unlikely that you will be allowed back in if you leave halfway through this match, which has an added layer of security around it.
