Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has entered the movie industry as a film producer. Since he retired from international cricket in 2020, MS Dhoni has ventured into newer spaces of business and entertainment.
One such array is the film industry. 'Captain Cool' has produced his first movie, LGM: Let's Get Married, under his production label Dhoni Entertainment.

Mahi and his spouse Sakshi were present in Chennai earlier this month at the trailer and audio launch of the film. They decided to shoot a Tamil film to showcase their love and affection towards the city of Chennai - a city that has been Dhoni's home ever since the inception of IPL.
When will LGM release?
The film Let's Get Married will be released on Friday, July 28, 2023. The movie stars Harish Kalyan and Ivana as the lead. It will be released in Tamil and Telegu languages and is directed by famous Tollywood Director Ramesh Thamilmani.
When was MS Dhoni Entertainment founded?
MS Dhoni Entertainment was established in 2019 by MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi. The firm has already produced some short projects and documentaries like "Roar Of The Lion" showcasing the return of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings after a two-season ban. It also produced an advertisement on Women's Day in 2022, in association with Karkinos Healthcare - a tech-based platform on a mission to eradicate cancer.
What did Dhoni say about Let's Get Married?
He said that his wife Sakshi came up with the concept and that the whole team had put in a lot of effort to make the final.
“I have watched the film. It’s a very clean and entertaining movie that can be watched by the entire family. The actors and technicians worked very well. "Director Ramesh Tamilmani breathed life into my wife Sakshi’s idea", said Dhoni.
Dhoni justified his selection of the location of Chennai. He said that he is a believer in destiny, and his long-term affinity towards the city compelled him to choose Tamil Cinema over others.
"I believe in destiny. My Test career started in Chennai. My highest score is from Chennai. I share a very good bond with Chennai. People from here always display great love and affection. So, I wanted to make my foray into filmdom with a Tamil film," concluded Dhoni.
