The inaugural season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) came to an end on June 23, 2024 with the Jabalpur Lions emerging as the first ever MPL champions. The Lions defeated Bhopal Leopards in a runs-filled Final at the Gwalior International Cricket Stadium.

MPL 2024 Final: Scorecard
Abhishek Pathak’s extraordinary 62-ball 1142-run knock saw the Lions posting a mammoth target of 250 runs for the Leopards to chase. The chase started off well, and at one point it looked like the Leopards just might pull it off, but the Lions stamped their foot in the game to bowl out the Leopards for 216 runs and clinch the maiden title by a margin of 33 runs.
