Is Mohammad Amir coming back to international cricket?

Mohammad Amir has denied any chances of a potential return to the Pakistan national team. He stated that he is enjoying 'league cricket', and does not 'feel the absence' of playing for Pakistan.

Amir announced a shock retirement from international cricket in 2019, as a 28-year-old. Having made over 140 appearances for the country, he does not wish to return to the Pakistan Cricket team, anytime soon.

I would have felt the absence of international cricket if I were not playing cricket. I am enjoying league cricket, and international cricket is not on my mind.

When did Mohammad Amir play his last match for Pakistan?

The last time Mohammad Amir made an appearance for the national team was in 2020. The ace-speedster featured the final time for Pakistan, against England in a T20I game. He had a forgetful outing at the Old Trafford, conceding 25 runs in just two overs. The 31-year-old hung up his boots at the international level and has not featured, ever since.
