Pakistan captain Babar Azam has now found himself in another hole of vacuum, with the 28-year-old being dragged into an unwanted tussle by a Pakistani journalist.

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi slammed PCB and journalist Badami for the Babar Azam chat controversy amid the World Cup 2023.

What did Shahid Afridi say about the chat leak involving Babar Azam?

Former Pakistan Skipper Shahid Afridi was agitated over the chat leak of Babar Azam and Salman Nasser. Afridi called it a "below-the-belt act" and stated that the leak defamed both Babar as well as Pakistan.

Speaking on Samaa TV, Afridi said,

Sorry to say but leaking personal chat of captain Babar Azam is a very below the belt act which has defamed your country and players as well, expressed Afridi.

This controversy emerged after Rashid Latif revealed that PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf was not picking calls of captain Babar Azam. Afridi doubted if this move was played by Zaka Ashraf just to prove Latif wrong.
