What is KL Rahul's record in Boxing Day Tests? image

KL Rahul marked his return to India's Test team in resounding fashion as he notched up his eighth Test century to propel India to a fighting total of 245 in the 1st innings of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa at the SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium in Centurion.

This was Rahul's second consecutive century in a Boxing Day Test, with the previous one also coming against South Africa at the same venue in 2021.

With India reeling at 121-6, Rahul was yet again the saviour for the visitors as he stood strong with the tail and helped them add 124 runs for the last four wickets.

Let's take a look at Rahul's numbers in the Boxing Day Test.
