The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to enter the business end. With the group stages been played out, it is now time for the seat belts to be fastened! Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as the top two teams from the group stages, battle it out for a place in the IPL 2024 Final.

The teams will take the pitch on the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on Tuesday, May 21. The winner of the game will have their berths booked for the IPL 2024 Final, while the loser will have another go to qualify for the final, facing either of Rajasthan Royals or Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

KKR were placed at the top of the points table, with 20 points in 14 matches. Shreyas Iyer & Co. won nine, and lost three out of their quota of group-stage games.

SRH mounted a late surge at the qualifier one game, going above Rajasthan Royals only on the final match day of group-stage games. RR had their game against KKR washed out, and had to settle for one point, finishing a point below SRH on final day.
