Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to lock horns against Gujarat Titans (GT) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

KKR ended their four-match losing streak in their last game as they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 21 runs. They will now hope to do the double over GT and remain in the hunt for a play-offs spot.

GT, on the other hand, will look to extend their winning streak to three matches and reclaim the top position on the league table.

The two teams have met each other only twice in the past with GT and KKR winning one game each.

Here is a comprehensive guide on the pitch report, live toss, predicted lineups and team news ahead of KKR and GT.

KKR vs GT pitch report

KKR are set to take on GT at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Established in 1864, Eden Gardens is the oldest cricket stadium in the country and is the second largest stadium after the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Eden Gardens has a batting-friendly pitch for T20 matches, although the spinners are likely to come into play as the pitch wears down.

"We're playing on pitch number 6. Almost identical square boundaries at 63 and 64m, the straight boundary is a bit longer at 74m and the pockets at 70m. The surface looks superb, there is a bit of rough and a bit of breeze blowing across, but it's a good batting surface once again'", said Daren Ganga and Matthew Hayden, in their pitch report.

A bit of a delay in the proceedings due to slight rain which has caused a wet outfield. However, the weather has cleared up and we could begin with the game very soon.

KKR's first game at the Eden Gardens this season saw them post 204 runs in 20 overs. Varun Chakravarthy, Suyash Sharma and Sunil Narine picked up nine wickets combined to bowl out RCB for 123.
