Gujarat Titans (GT) will be desperate for revenge when they visit the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday to take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League.
Earlier this season, both teams met at Ahmedabad and served up an all-time classic, with KKR defeating GT in stunning fashion thanks to Rinku Singh, who smashed five sixes in the final over of the game to take his side home.
The Hardik Pandya-led Titans will be looking erase the memories from that loss at the Eden Gardens. They are currently third on the table and can go to the top with a win over KKR on Saturday.
Moreover, GT have won both their previous games, including a comprehensive win over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the last match, where middle-order batsman Abhinav Manohar shone.
KKR are also coming off a much-needed win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Bengaluru. Confidence coursing through their veins, Nitish Rana's side will want to notch their fourth win of the season.

KKR vs GT: Live Updates
Check back here for live updates on all the build-up, and action from the match itself.
20:04- Joshua Little wins the Player of the Match for his excellent bowling performance.
19:47- GT win it by 7 wickets after 17.5 overs! The Titans have taken revenge over the Knights for their previous loss. Just as it looked like KKR's bowlers had tamed the GT batsmen, Shankar decided to take things into his own hands and blew apart the opposition bowling lineup, scoring 51 runs off 24 balls in the process. GT now go up to the top of the table and hope to remain above every other team for the rest of the tournament and get their second consecutive title. For KKR it's another disappointing defeat.
19:22- 111-3 after 14 overs. KKR have seemingly turned the tides in their favour by dismissing Gill. GT's top batsman tried to get his half-century in style but was punished for it by being caught and sent back to the bench. Shankar and Miller need to up the pace if they want their side to go on top of the IPL table. Meanwhile for the Knights all of their bowlers have come through in different ways whether it be controlling the economy rate or taking important wickets to destabilise their opponent. It's still anyone's match to win.
18:45- 52/1 after the powerplay overs. It's been a good start for GT with Gill coming through and making the most of being an "Impact sub". KKR bowlers will need to do much better despite having taken the wicket of Saha to slow down the Titans, if they want to have a chance of winning this game and jump up the table.
18:14- Second innings begins! Harshit will bowl the first over for KKR. Saha and Gill open for GT.
18:02- 179-7 after 20 overs. Birthday boy Russel chose the best day to come back to form and show how good a finisher he is and help KKR post a total of 179 runs. But it was Gurbaz who was the star of the show with his knock of 81(39) without which the Knights may have been in big trouble. For LSG, Little and Shami came through in the bowling department, taking many important wickets (two and three respectively) keeping KKR's total under 200 runs. Now it's upto the Giants' batsmen to turn up and get the reigning champions the victory.
17:34- 134/4 after 15 overs. Mostly been a one-man show from Gurbaz for KKR who hasn't had much help from his teammates but if he sees out the match his side may put up a winning score on this pitch. Little has been important for GT taking the wickets of Nitish and Iyer in the same over. Will the Titans stop Gurbaz, or will the batsman carry KKR across the finish line? Stay tuned!
17:00- A well-deserved 50 for Gurbaz who has been the main man for the KKR in the first innings.
16:47- 61-2 after six overs. After a slow start KKR are picking up the pace. Gurbaz has been excellent for the Knights scoring 39 off 15 balls. For the Giants Shami has come through with two wickets. It remains to be seen if KKR can maintain their momentum beyond the powerplay, or if Pandya's decision to bowl first will prove to be the right one.
16:14- Finally we begin with proceedings! Shami will bowl first for GT, while Jagadeeshan and Gurbaz open for KKR
16:04- Play will restart at 16:15 local time with all 20 overs to be played in both innings.
15:44- The match is currently delayed due to a wet outfield, however, things look promising with clear weather and the players warming up as the field is prepared for the match.
15:31- Slight delay as the covers are slowly removed with the rain stopping. There's still one hour left before overs get cut from the match, still a lot of time for us to have a full game!
15:08- Teams Announced:
KKR: N Jagadeesan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz(w), Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana(c), Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, David Wiese, Shardul Thakur, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakaravarthy
Impact Subs: Suyash Sharma, Mandeep Singh, Anukul Roy, Tim Southee, Kulwant Khejroliya
GT: Wriddhiman Saha(w), Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya(c), Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Joshua Little
Impact Subs: Shubman Gill, Srikar Bharat, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Shivam Mavi, Jayant Yadav
15:02- While the weather was clear and sunny at the start of the proceedings, clouds have emerged, hopefully no rain to disrupt what could be an exciting game.
15:00- GT win the toss. Pandya decides to his side will bowl first, and KKR to bat in the first innings.
14:46- Pitch Report: We're playing on pitch number 6. Almost identical square boundaries at 63 and 64m, the straight boundary is a bit longer at 74m and the pockets at 70m. The surface looks superb, there is a bit of rough and a bit of breeze blowing across, but it's a good batting surface once again', reckon Daren Ganga and Matthew Hayden.
14:40- Welcome to TSN's live coverage of KKR vs GT, the weather seems clear so far with the sun out so no disruptions to the proceedings are expected.
Shardul Thakur to play today
All-rounder Shardul Thakur is likely to play for KKR today after recovering completely from a niggle. Thakur has been an asset for KKR this season, famously starring in their win over RCB at Kolkata where he smashed a 29-ball 68.
He is expected to replace Vaibhav Arora or Umesh Yadav.
The spinners to the fore in this game
Both KKR and GT have strong spin departments. While Suyash Sharma, Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy are KKR's trump cards, GT have an equally strong spin contingent. Rashid Khan is one of the premier spinners in the world and assisting him will be his compatriot Noor Ahmed, who is a bit of a left-arm version of Rashid.
Another 200+ score on the cards?
Eden Gardens this season has been a high-scoring ground. Out of the six innings at Eden Gardens this season, 200 has been breached four times.
Will we see another high-scoring thriller?
KKR vs GT: Pitch Report
Eden Gardens generally has a very batting-friendly surface and high scores could be the order of the day here. The surface is generally flat and the bounce is true which makes it very conducive to stroke play.
