Jonny Bairstow's century led England's fightback against New Zealand

England middle-order batsman Jonny Bairstow is set to feature in his 100th Test when his side take on India in the fifth Test of the ongoing Test series in Dharamsala on March 7.

Bairstow made his debut in 2012 as a 22-year-old against the West Indies. At 33, he will join 16 other Englishmen in the list of those who have played 100 Tests, joining his skipper Ben Stokes, who became the most recent addition last month.

It has been a tough series for Bairstow, accumulating a measly 170 runs across eight innings with a high score of 38. There has been little to cheer for for the 34-year-old in the series, but he can be proud of himself when he takes on the field in the fifth Test.

In this article, The Sporting News takes a look at the batsmen with the most runs heading into their 100th Test.
