English all-rounder Chris Woakes has hailed ace Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah as the best fast bowler in the world across all formats.
Bumrah recently returned to action after a prolonged injury layoff for more than a year where he underwent back surgery.

Upon his return, the fast bowler led a second-string Indian team in their series against Ireland and then played an important role in India lifting their record eighth Asia Cup title in Sri Lanka.
Now, Woakes has heaped praises on the Indian star as he hailed him as the best in the world.

Speaking to Wisden Cricket Monthly, the English star said,
Jasprit Bumrah is the No. 1 I think, probably across all formats. He's pretty sensational with what he does and he's unique, right? His action is very different to anyone else and he has got a high pace, a gun slower ball, a yorker on tap - everything you need as a white-ball bowler.

Bumrah will be next seen in action on September 22 when India play Australia in the first ODI of the three-match series in Mohali.
