Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match number 22 of the Indian Premier League at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
MI head into this fixture on the back of a thrilling last-ball win over Delhi Capitals (DC) after two defeats on the trot to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Rohit Sharma found himself back among the runs, scoring 65 against DC but Suryakumar Yadav continued to struggle with the bat.
Whereas Jason Behrendorff and Piyush Chawla picked up three wickets each to stifle DC during the chase. The two bowlers will once again have to put their best foot forward, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Jofra Archer's fitness.
Meanwhile, KKR lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous game by seven runs after Harry Brook scored a sensational 100 in just 55 balls at Eden Gardens.
In four matches, they have got two wins and an equal number of losses. KKR will want to better that record by getting back to winning ways against an opponent whom they have struggled to beat in the past.
The two teams have faced each other in 31 matches in the IPL with MI coming out on top on 22 occasions and KKR winning the rest (9).
