Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday night.

The Mangalam Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore will host the fixture, with two evenly matched teams to do battle.

RCB come into the match following a shellacking at the hands of Kolkata Knights Riders (KKR), but they certainly have the personnel required to pick up their second win of the reason.

LSG, on the other hand, will look to build momentum off a tight and low-scoring victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Below, we take a look at where you can find value for this encounter.

RCB vs. LSG team news

RCB have a couple of injury concerns as Rajat Patidar has been ruled out of IPL with an Achilles injury whereas Josh Hazlewood is still unfit.

However, they have roped in Wayne Parnell for the injured Reece Topley who has gone back home after dislocating his shoulder.

LSG has just one injury concern and that is fast bowler Mohsin Singh who has been ruled out of action for an indefinite period.

RCB vs. LSG prediction

  • Result prediction: RCB to win

Like a lot of IPL matches, this clash is a tricky one to predict.

LSG were sitting atop the table until Rajasthan Royals' win on Sunday but haven't been entirely convincing despite their 2-1 record.

RCB are in the bottom half of the standings following an emphatic defeat to KKR in their second game.

However, their home performance against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their opening match was seriously impressive, and the atmosphere in Bangalore may well be the difference on this occasion.

RCB vs. LSG best bet

  • Pick: Top Bowler (LSG) — Mark Wood
  • Odds: 3.35 — (Dafabet)

With the game itself delicately poised, it is hard to pick a match-winner with much confidence.

That brings us to Mark Wood, who has had a very strong start to the season.

The English fast bowler was quiet in his most recent match for LSG but picked up a combined eight wickets in his opening two appearances.

His experience at the top level also makes him an attractive selection.

RCB vs. LSG flier bet

  • Pick: Kyle Mayers to score 50+
  • Odds: 4.50 (Dafabet)

Three matches. Two half-centuries.

The Barbadian has already shown his explosive capabilities with the bat this campaign and appears good value to reach 50 again in this match.

RCB have given up at least 172 runs in each of their first two games, so Mayers is a chance to take advantage of that.
