Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer scored centuries as India posted a total of 397 runs. Mohammed Shami took a seven-for in the second innings, single-handedly paving the way for an India win.
Rohit Sharma and Co. have headed to Ahmedabad, where the final is scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.

Will PM Narendra Modi attend the World Cup 2023 Final?
Various guests are expected to grace the grand occasion with their presence in Ahmedabad. As reported by Dainik Jagran, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be in attendance for the high-octane clash.
He could also hand over the trophy to the winning captain.
PM Modi last attended a cricket match during the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023. It was the fourth match of the series, which was also played in Ahmedabad. He was present for that game with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese.

Which celebrities will attend the World Cup 2023 final?
The semi-final 1 of the ongoing tournament, which was played between India and New Zealand in Mumbai was attended by many celebrities. Footballer David Beckham was present in the stadium as a UNICEF ambassador. Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also marked his presence.
Bollywood personalities John Abraham, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma were seen watching the match live from the stadium. Legendary actor Rajnikanth also attended the game.
