Indian batter Prithvi Shaw shares cryptic post on social media image

India international and Delhi Capitals batsman Prithvi Shaw shared a cryptic post on social media as the continues to recover from a Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) injury that he suffered during his English county stint.

The opening batsman, on his Instagram story, shared a photo of his injured knee and wrote, "People give hands when you step up in life, and always leaves it when you go down from steps."

What happened to Prithvi Shaw?

Shaw's English county stint with Northamptonshire was cut short by an unfortunate knee injury and he is currently recovering from it. He will need a minimum of two months to come back to the field. 

He was quite impressive during a short stint in England as he hit 244 runs in an innings against Somerset in a One-Day match recently.

Northamptonshire confirmed Shaw's injury in a release that read, 

Prithvi injured his knee while fielding in the fixture against Durham and subsequent scan results received this morning have revealed the injury is worse than initially expected.

When did Prithvi Shaw last play for India?

The Mumbai-based opener last played a Test match for India in December 2020 and his last ODI appearance for the Men in Blue came in July 2021.
