10:44 PM: Afghanistan 66/3 in 10 overs. Afghans are 66/3 at the halfway stage. Gulbadin Naib and Azmatullah Omarzai have thrown the kitchen sink on Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle overs. The duo will need to score runs at a faster rate, without losing their wicket in the process. India remain in the driving seat, with required run rate creeping above 11 runs per over.
10:26 PM: Afghanistan 27/3 in 5 overs. What a start by Team India! Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel have dented the Afghan run-chase by picking quick wickets in the powerplay. Supporitng him at the crease is the vice captain, Hardik Pandya. Rashid Khan has been the pick of the bowlers for Afghanistan but has completed his spell with five overs to go.
8:49 PM: India 79/3 in 10 overs. The Indians are struggling halfway through the innigns having lost their top order batsmen in Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube are on the crease and will need to play smartly to get their team out of trouble.
8:34 PM: India 54/2 in 7 overs. Rashid Khan picks up his first wicket against India, picking up the dangerous looking Rishabh Pant's wicket on the final delivery of the 7th over. Suryakumar Yadav will now join Virat Kohli on the crease
8:00 PM: Skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli open for the Indians in their first Super 8 clash of the tournament. Meanwhile, the top wicket taker of the tournament, Fazhal Farooqi opens the bowling for the Afghans.
