The Indian cricket team has arrived in the West Indies for their tour of two Test matches, three ODIs and five T20s. The first Test match between India and West Indies will start on July 12.

Team India is busily practicing prior to the match, and as is to be expected, all eyes are on them, particularly on former India captain Virat Kohli.

Prior to their series, the Indian cricket team was in for a pleasant surprise when they had the opportunity to meet the one and only Sir Garfield Sobers, the legendary West Indian all-rounder who is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever to grace the sport.

In a meeting between greats from different eras, Virat Kohli met Sir Garfield Sobers on Wednesday.

The team was training in Barbados when they stumbled across the legendary Sobers, 86, and his wife when they arrived at Kensington Oval.

As it happened, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and other team members had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the legendary West Indian cricketer just close to the Garfield Sobers Pavilion.
