Amidst the on-going IPL season, India will be gearing up to feature for the ICC T20 World Cup starting in June, with the United States and the West Indies hosting the tournament. The fifteen-man squad was released by BCCI a couple of weeks ago with Rohit Sharma as the captain and Hardik Pandya as the vice-captain of the team.

Which of the players will feature in the IPL 2024 playoffs?
With a thrilling win over the reigning champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) booked the fourth and final spot into the IPL 2024 playoff. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) had already locked in their berth.
The likes of Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC) and CSK have been knocked out of the competition. The majority of the players of India's fifteen-man World Cup squad, can hence start their preparations early.
There is less than a week's gap between the end of IPL 2024 and the beginning of 2024 T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, five players from two teams will continue with their IPL journey in the playoffs of the tournament before joining the Indian contingent that flies off to the USA and the West Indies. Here’s a list of the World Cup squad players that will feature in the 2024 IPL playoffs:

India will kick-start their campaign on 5th June, playing their first game against Ireland in New York, USA.
