The BCCI has announced Indian women's cricket team's squad for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024. This year’s tournament, initially scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, has been shifted to the UAE due to political unrest in the original host country.

The tournament is set to begin on October 3 in Sharjah, with the final scheduled for October 20 in Dubai. India will kick off their campaign on October 4 against New Zealand.

The team is looking to improve on their performance from the previous edition, where they reached the semi-finals. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead a well-balanced side as they aim for their first T20 World Cup title. However, one notable exclusion from the squad is Harleen Deol, who did not make the cut.
