Team India have qualified for the semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 where they are set to face defending champions England. The two cricketing giants will face each other on June 27, 2024 in Guyana.
Rohit Sharma & Co. are yet to be beaten in this year's T20 World Cup. A similar record to last year's ODI World Cup, Team India have made it past the group games as well as the Super 8 stage without having a single chink in their armour.
That being said, India's record in ICC knockouts is not appealing. There is a reason that India, despite being one of the strongest sides over the past decade, have failed to land a single ICC trophy since 2013.
The Sporting News digs deep into India's performances in ICC tournament semi-finals.
