Not for the first time during the ongoing 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, former Pakistan cricketers have levelled a bizarre claim against India and BCCI.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Sikandar Bakht has now alleged that India captain Rohit Sharma fixes the toss in tandem with the ICC (International Cricket Council) and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).

On Wednesday, India progressed to the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 after beating New Zealand in the semifinal in Mumbai. Interestingly, India won the toss on a batting-friendly wicket and posted a mammoth score of 397/4 and won the game by 70 runs.

Bakht, however, spoke about the peculiar way that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma tossed the coin and stated that it was suspicious.

What did Sikandar Bakht say about Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's coin toss?

Speaking on a news channel show, Sikandar Bakht talked about a conspiracy theory about the way Rohit Sharma tosses the coin during World Cup matches.

He felt that Rohit tosses the coin far away from his counterpart and the ICC officials, inevitably, rule in India's favour.

"Can I give you a conspiracy theory? At the time of the toss, Rohit Sharma throws the coin distant from the range of any opposition captain. Thus, the opposition captain cannot go and crosscheck about the call," Bakht said.
