The newly crowned Asia Cup champions India are all set to take on Australia in a three-match ODI series starting September 22.

In preparation for the upcoming ODI World Cup in India, the two giants of world cricket will lock horns thrice in a spell of five days.

The matches will be played at Mohali on September 22, Indore on September 24 and Saurashtra on September 27.

Chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar and Indian captain Rohit Sharma addressed the press earlier to announce the squad.

A 15-man squad was announced for the first two ODIs which will be led by KL Rahul as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested.

The India captain is Rohit Sharma, and his deputy for the Australia series is Hardik Pandya.
